Waiting for the CPA exam scores release dates from NASBA can be difficult and suspenseful. After my exams, I was checking the website almost every day just to see if there were any updates.

Duidelijk, this was a total waste of time, but I was excited. The AICPA publishes the release dates when NASBA is supposed to release scores to the state boards. Technically these initial scores are only online advisory scores used to notify the state board of your progress. They tell you not to rely on the advisory scores, but they never change. Your advisory score is your real score. Zo, if it says 75 or more, you win!

How to Find My CPA Exam Scores

Het is super eenvoudig om toegang te krijgen tot uw CPA scores online. Terug in de donkere eeuwen, je zou moeten wachten voor een brief in de mail. Now you can simply log on to the NASBA website and use their candidate online advisory score report to see your score before you get your letter in the mail. All you need to do is input your section number and date of birth.

There are a couple things to keep in mind, echter:

  • The AICPA uses the Eastern Standard Time zone, so your scores in CA might be delayed to the next day.
  • Normaal gesproken, the AICPA receives all testing file from Prometric testing centers within 24 uur, but sometimes it takes longer.
  • If a testing file is received after the cutoff date, the score will not be released until the next target release date.
  • BEC is a weird section for grading. It can take them a full week longer to grade your BEC exam because of the writing section. Don’t be worried if it doesn’t come out on the target date.
